Now is the Time to Get Involved in 4-H

Livestock Club

Meets last Tuesday of every month at 6pm. Focuses on raising livestock. This club is open to youth ages 9-18. Meeting location: A.T. Johnson Museum/Auditorium, Montross.

Heritage Club

Meets in monthly at George Washington Birthplace National Monument. Focuses on colonial liv-ing history and communication and expressive arts. Meeting location: George Washington Birthplace National Monument, Oak Grove.

Rural Living Club

Meets last Monday of each month January through November from 6-7pm. Focuses on top-ics related to healthy rural living. This club is open to youth ages 9-18. Meeting location: Beulah Baptist Church, Lyells.

New Clubs

New clubs are always welcome. A new club can be started with a minimum of 5 young people and 2 screened and trained adult volunteer leaders. Clubs meet for at least 6 one-hour sessions during the year and have a planned program.
